High-Sensitivity Capacitive Sensor ICs "HSLCMB Series"

The HSLCMB series of high-sensitivity capacitive sensor ICs have a built-in capacitance measurement circuit and a 32-bit CPU to enable high-sensitivity, high-noise-immunity electrostatic sensing.
Compared to our conventional products, the signal-to-noise ratio is larger and more sensitive, so it is possible to detect objects that are far away, and it is also possible to reduce the size of the sensor electrode at the same distance. In addition, with high noise immunity, it can meet automotive standards even in vehicles where signals such as road noise, engine noise, and radio waves are flying around. "Absolute self-capacitance detection" is also possible, which can detect only the capacity of the object.
The HSLCMB series can be used in a wide range of applications, including touchless operation, in-vehicle touch panels, and liquid level sensors.

Current Ripple Detection IC "HSLRAC Series"

The HSLRAC series of current ripple detection ICs integrate a single-chip circuit that detects the voltage between the electrodes of the motor, a load current detection circuit, and a circuit that converts the ripple component of the load current into a pulse signal. In addition, it is possible to detect the motor rotation position from the current ripple of the brushed DC motor. Compared to conventional methods that use Hall sensors, external magnetic sensors and harnesses are not required, contributing to improved design flexibility, cost reduction, and weight reduction.
It is AEC-Q100 Grade 1 compliant, which is a qualification standard that guarantees the quality of automotive ICs, and can be used not only in consumer devices using brushed DC motors, but also in automotive applications such as power windows.
