Surface Encoder

This is a new type of encoder that can be directly attached to displays such as car navigation systems, allowing operation while viewing the screen up close.
Additionally, by displaying operation information in the space at the center of the product, users can check information without shifting their line of sight.

Detection Switch (SPVQK Series)

By boosting the low-voltage battery (12V) to 48V, it is not only possible to stably supply the high power required for electronic devices, but also to reduce the required current to one-quarter of the conventional level. As a result, it becomes possible to reduce vehicle weight by using thinner wiring harnesses, and it also helps suppress power loss and heat generation in the circuit.

Tactile enhancement using in-mold coating technology

This technology uses an in-mold coating process to impart invisible microstructures onto the surface of molded products, enabling precise control of the intended tactile feel. Without altering the visual design, it can reproduce functional tactile sensations such as “rough,” “smooth,” and “silky,” allowing blind-touch operation even on flat panels. By combining sensory evaluation, statistical analysis, and physiological insights in the design process, it achieves both high reproducibility and suitability for mass production.

haptic reactor

AFR Series: Adds a reliable sense of operation to large touch displays.
AFDU Series: Despite its slim 5 mm profile, the AFDU series provides a vibration acceleration of 4.9G, making it ideal for vibration feedback in compact panels.

An operational feel evaluation map for automotive Tact Switch® based on the principles of kansei engineering.

This map organizes the operational feel of automotive Tact Switch® based on our proprietary evaluation axes, referencing the concept of kansei words used in kansei engineering. Using the words expressed by customers (such as “premium feel,” “comfortable,” and “easy to understand”) as clues, it visualizes the relationship between operational evaluation and physical characteristics in a relative manner.

Automotive Tact Switch® Double-Action Type

This is a double-action type Tact Switch® that is useful for addressing multifunctionalization and space-saving needs in power windows, steering wheels, back doors, and more. A single switch provides the functionality of two switches.

Current Ripple Sensor

The current ripple detection IC ‘HSLRAC series’ integrates on a single chip a motor terminal voltage detection circuit, a load current detection circuit, and a circuit that converts the ripple component of the load current into pulse signals. This IC enables detection of the motor’s rotational position from the current ripple of brushed DC motors.
It helps reduce the number of wiring harnesses, contributing to improved design flexibility, cost reduction, and weight savings. In addition, it complies with AEC-Q100 Grade 1, making it suitable for automotive applications such as power windows.

Ultrasonic Sensation’ Capacitive Sensor

We have prepared a demo unit that allows you to experience the overwhelmingly high sensitivity of our capacitive sensor IC.
It is capable of detecting fingers at a distance of approximately 20 cm from the sensor surface.

Plug-fit Coreless Current Sensor Module

A sensor module that is among the smallest and lightest in the industry, contributes to further higher output and higher density of mounted products, allows easy installation, and requires no calibration by the customer.
ALPS ALPINE provides a safe and reliable environment (world/life) through the creation of valuable sensing products

GNSS Module, GNSS Tracker

GNSS Module: Supports sub-meter positioning accuracy required for vehicle positioning in automotive ADAS and V2X applications used in autonomous driving. In addition to achieving positioning accuracy within ±50 cm without the need for correction data, it also supports dead reckoning.
GNSS Tracker: Determines the vehicle’s position for fleet management of logistics vehicles and uploads the data to the cloud. Easy installation is possible with only a connection to the vehicle’s power supply. Also supports dead reckoning, enabling vehicle positioning even in tunnels and underground parking areas.

In-Cabin Sensing Camera ToF-RGB-IR Camera

A compact ToF-RGB-IR camera capable of monitoring the driver and all passengers. It can simultaneously capture depth images for distance measurement and IR images for recognition, as well as color images. One camera can capture three types of images, eliminating the need for separate cameras for each.

Alps Alpine’s decorative printing technology

By using proprietary thermal transfer printing and screen printing technologies, it is possible to achieve products that combine high design quality—such as metallic finishes and wood-grain patterns—with functional properties like light transmission and non-conductive metallic characteristics. The printed film can also undergo secondary processing (forming), and is used in automotive interior components.

Magnetic angle sensor

We are currently developing two next-generation angle sensors featuring DFN packages of 1.63 × 1.26 × t0.6 mm and 2 × 1.64 × t0.6 mm. The output consists of two Sin/Cos signals (with built-in amplifiers), and we are also simultaneously developing a dual-system, four-output version with independent VDD and GND.

Integrate HMI High/Mid grade platform

This is a next-generation in-vehicle HMI that combines stealth decorative technology that blends seamlessly into cabin design with high-quality visual display. It remains hidden when not needed, and displays and enables operation only when required.
By utilizing a local dimming-equipped LCD and a pattern-hiding algorithm, it achieves clear visibility even through decorative panels. Flexible proposals are possible depending on the application, including various LCD specifications and low-cost changeable icons.
