HAPTIC™ Reactor Wide Band Type

With a wide drive frequency band, the HAPTIC™ Reactor Wide Band Type produces strong vibrations with powerful acceleration even at low frequencies. Demonstrating the quick response required for gaming and virtual reality applications, the device helps to create a more immersive experience using highly realistic sensations.

UV-C Lens

A glass molded lens useful for sterilization of air and water. Ultraviolet (UV) band transmission properties, including for deep UV (DUV), are excellent and the coefficient of linear thermal expansion is closer to metal compared to when using fused quartz, allowing a highly reliable seal. As an LED cover glass technology, the product will contribute to a safer society.

Current Sensor

Battery electric vehicles (BEVs) have made great advances. Alps Alpine has created a current sensor module for detecting current levels in BEVs, harnessing know-how and technical capabilities accumulated through involvement with various sensors employed in the engine area – an environment subjected to tough temperature and vibration conditions. Employing original magnetoresistive technology, we have done away with a core, which other designs need. This enables a compact, lightweight product that enhances design freedom for incorporation into inverters or batteries of electric vehicles and improves energy efficiency, thereby contributing to decarbonization.

GNSS Module

A GNSS¹ module realizing high-accuracy vehicle positioning to within 50cm without correction data – a world first for automotive applications. Even on general roads (approx. three meters wide), the module reliably enables vehicle positioning down to the lane level, as is required of various V2X² applications, thereby contributing to greater sophistication of autonomous driving functions.

• 1 Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS): Such systems include GPS (United States), GLONASS (Russia), Galileo (Europe) and BeiDou (China). Here, Regional Navigation Satellite Systems (RNSS) QZSS (Japan) and NavIC (India) are also included.
• 2 Vehicle-to-everything (V2X): Collective term for technology connecting vehicles to something, such as vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V), vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) and vehicle-to-pedestrians (V2P)

Stealth Aerial Interface

A next-generation aerial interface that combines an aerial display with a wide viewing angle with high-sensitivity sensing technology to achieve good visibility and also high responsiveness even when not making contact. Incorporating stealth technology for concealing features not in use allows never-before-seen designs and new experiences.
